Yuzu Earl Grey
We blended a new kind of Earl Grey tea, replacing most of the bergamot oil with Yuzu peel. The tea blend is of Assam and Darjeeling teas. The dry tea has a spicy citrus aroma. In the cup, the aroma reveals a rich black tea note, complemented by an elegant sweet citrus note. The taste is similar to traditional Earl Grey tea, but the citrus note is deeper, more persistent and fuller.

General
Earl Grey is probably the most famous spiced tea. Earl Grey is a blend of black tea spiced with bergamot fruit, most typically bergamot oil. It is named after the British Prime Minister Earl Charles Grey (1764–1845). We developed our own variation of Earl Grey tea by replacing almost all of the bergamot oil with yuzu peel. The tea blend is also a bit more luxurious as we included second flush Darjeeling.
Taste
The aroma of the dry tea is spicy citrus. In the cup, the aroma reveals a strong note of black tea, complemented by an elegant sweet citrus note. The taste is similar to traditional Earl Grey tea, but the citrus note is deeper, more persistent and fuller.
Infusion
You need a tablespoon of tea leaves, or about 4g. Use boiling water for brewing. In a large teapot (over 500ml) the brewing time is 3-5 minutes. In a teapot under 500ml 2-3 minutes. Adjust the amount of leaves and the length of brewing according to taste.
