Kyusu #53, Tosen (260ml) Tokoname-yaki
A medium-sized Tokoname kyusu from the Tosen studio. The teapot is crafted from reddish, light-colored, and greenish-gray clays combined using the nerikomi technique, in which the clay varieties are blended together before the pot is shaped. Horizontal grooves on the lid and sides add texture to the design, while the handle and spout are made from unblended reddish clay. It features an excellent wide, fine-mesh strainer, making it ideal for brewing even finely shredded teas. The kyusu is supplied in a decorative cardboard box.
