A medium-sized Tokoname kyusu from the Gyokkon studio, which is run by the Umehara pottery family. The teapot is crafted from a material resembling grey stoneware and features fine horizontal grooves. In addition to this texture, it displays beautiful kiln effects that give parts of the teapot an orange hue. It is equipped with an excellent, wide fine-mesh strainer, making it ideal for infusing even finely shredded tea leaves. The kyusu is supplied in a decorative cardboard box.
